Bio: Rurik once the young man who led the world out of its darkest hour during the takeover instigated by the psychopath Albert Caine. During his travels, the Keeper found the legendary sword described by ancient prophecy. Thinking it was meant for him, he took it with him and used it to vanquish the great evil. However, Rurik eventually realized that the sword was never more than a sword in his hands. He resigned himself to the belief that he was not the sword’s true master, and that what he had witnessed was only the beginning. He took up residence in the old Port Lighthouse, becoming known more commonly as “The Keeper”, and wait for the one who could end the darkness once and for all. He would wait a long time.
